Nadia Al NassarGraduate Student

Following my graduate studies at Columbia University, I moved back to my home country, Kuwait, where I worked as a mental health counselor at a nonprofit organization. Here at the School of Human Ecology, my broad research goals are in promoting psychosocial well-being in underserved communities through multi-level, prevention-based interventions and mental health policies. One of my main interests is in understanding the experiences and needs of family caregivers of individuals with chronic or life-limiting illnesses to inform healthcare policies and improve their quality of life.
