Adriana BarriosEngagement Manager for Exhibitions and Programs

I am an artist, educator, and curator originally from Southern California. I received my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of
Fine Arts degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I’ve participated in artist residencies at the Pilchuck Glass School located in Stanwood, Washington and Santa Reparata International Art located in Florence, Italy. My artwork has been exhibited nationally in New York, New Mexico, and Texas and internationally in Mexico and Italy.

I have curated over 40 exhibitions since 2009 and have juried exhibitions and arts awards for the Racine Museum of Art and Kent State University.

In my art practice I use printmaking, papermaking, video and installation as a way to record and respond to the environmental changes happening along the California coastline due to human activity and climate change.
