My critical, qualitative research focuses broadly on the relationship between K-12 education policy and practice, with a particular focus on how students, educators, and community members challenge and reproduce racism and injustice through their everyday practices. I have expertise in teachers, policy and practice, and school discipline, as well as care theories, critical race theories, and critical policy analysis.
