Deborah Kaddu-SerwaddaSenior Program Associate, 4W Women and Well-being Initiative

I am a Utilization-Focused Evaluator who specializes in using Evaluation Science in Social Movements and Higher Education to promote gender equality, the advancement of girls and women, and inclusive economic growth interventions for marginalized communities. I have been applying Gender-Responsive, Culturally Responsive, Strengths-Focused and Empowerment Evaluation principles to violence prevention, development and advocacy initiatives in children, youth and women’s programs and organizations in the United States and sub-Saharan Africa for close to 20 years. I am particularly interested in supporting the growth of transdisciplinary collaborative transformative leadership development programs for women leaders in academic institutions in the global South and North to build and scale innovative research-to-action programs that practically address barriers to women’s and family wellbeing.
