Henry ObengMFA Student, Design Studies

Henry Obeng from Ghana, is a papermaker and photographer. My work has focused on the use of papers made from indigenous plant fibers such as bamboo, as substrate for large format photographic imagery and how these images registers themselves. My photographs have this idea of recycling where it sometimes has relation to the fiber that is been repurposed into a paper or surface and also exploring the local waste materials for high end papers.
