A native of Huntington Beach, California, I am a multidisciplinary artist whose work delves into the profound issues surrounding migration in the Americas and beyond. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and pursued further studies, obtaining master’s degrees from the University of Madison–Wisconsin.
My impactful artworks have garnered recognition and have been showcased in prestigious institutions, including exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Chazen Museum of Art, and Antigua Academia de San Carlos. My compelling artistic expressions have resonated with diverse audiences, leading to the acquisition of my pieces by universities, museums, and private collectors.
My involvement with the School of Human Ecology brings a hands-on capacity to support rotating exhibitions year round to bring an incredible diversity of exhibits for the university. These exhibits invite students, professors, and visiting artists alike to participate in a scholarly investment that provides a universal view of what the Center of Design and Material Culture can introduce to the community at large.
