Congratulations to Associate Professor J Michael Collins, winner of a prestigious Vilas Associates Award as submitted by the LaFollette School of Public Affairs. The campus-wide competition recognizes new and on-going research of the highest quality and significance. According to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education, recipients are chosen competitively by the divisional Research Committees on the basis of a detailed proposal. Associate professor Collins project “Financial Capabilities and Medication Persistent and Adherence: A Randomized Trial”, is illustrative of the important and critical policy work conducted by the faculty in SoHE and the LaFollette School of Public Affairs.
Previous winners of the Vilas Associates Award include Design Studies Associate Professor Mary Hark, Professor Jennifer Angus and HDFS Associate Professor Lauren Papp.
