Dean Shim co-author on award-winning paper in Journal of Family and Economic Issues

Each year, the Family Financial Well-Being Focus Group of the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) conducts a search of articles published during the previous year and selects one paper to receive its prestigious award. The Best Family Financial Well-Being Paper Award recognizes outstanding scholarship that examines the intricate connection between finances and family well-being.

Romantic Attachment Orientations, Financial Behaviors, and Life Outcomes Among Young Adults: A Mediating Analysis of a College Cohort examines the associations between romantic attachment orientations (i.e., attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance) and young adults’ life outcomes (i.e., financial satisfaction, life satisfaction, and relationship satisfaction).
