Three time Olympian Brianna Decker (BS HDFS 2013) will represent Team USA at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. Decker, a forward for USA Women’s Hockey, is a fierce competitor on the ice, an accomplished girls youth coach and philanthropist. In 2019 she partnered with The USA Hockey Foundation to create the Brianna Decker Endowment for Girls Hockey.

The goal of the fund is to develop programs focused on increasing female youth participation in hockey by alleviating costs surrounding ice time, equipment, and overall development.

According to the 2019 release Decker noted,  “We have the opportunity to have an impact and grow the game for younger generations and create something better than what we had when we were younger. I think that is a huge goal and this is a kick-start for me to be able to have that impact.”

Congratulations Brianna!
