SoHE student wins Excellence in Civic Engagement Undergrad Award

Photo of entryway with UW crestTaylor Gilbertson is the recipient of this year’s Morgridge Center for Public Service Excellence in Civic Engagement Undergraduate Award that recognizes students who have made the community a priority during their time at UW-Madison. Taylor is a Community and Nonprofit Leadership major and plans to attend John Hopkins University to pursue a Master’s in Education. She will be honored at the Be the Change Bash on Tuesday, May 1st.

Samburu Girls FoundationMay 5, “Step One: Water” event will raise funds for a water source for the Samburu Girls Foundation, a place for girls in northern Kenya to escape child marriage or other forms of abuse.
