Heather Kirkorian featured in Popular Science

Heather KirkorianHDFS associate professor Heather Kirkorian was featured in the December 6th Popular Science article “Facebook Messenger Kids probably won’t ruin your children” about the new social media app. While there are controversies on bringing kids into the social media world, Kirkorian states how critical it is that parents monitor the apps that their children use as it is a crucial aspect of introducing this new form of communication. She also expressed how important it is to closely observe any changed behavior of the child from using the app. Read the article here.
