Jane BoutelleDean's Advisory Board Membershe/her/hers

I have spent much of my career in technology companies, uncovering consumers’ needs and bringing them to life in products and communications. My work has spanned across marketing, research, product management, customer success, sales and more. I’ve always focused on people and what they need to make their lives and work better, so I’m a human ecologist at heart!

Why do you care about Human Ecology?

Human Ecology is all about improving all facets of people’s lives. I love that we all have the potential to contribute to that mission; in fact, diversity is essential to making that happen.

What excites you about your role as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board?

I enjoy the collaboration with the other board members, the faculty and staff, and Dean Shim. We’ve been able to see the impact of our work on the Advisory Board, which is rewarding.
