I am a material culture scholar whose dissertation research is focused on the intersecting histories of craft, home economics, and the postal service. In 2022 I received my MA in folklore from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and in 2015 graduated with a BFA in fiber and humanistic studies from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I am also an exhibiting artist and curator; most recently I co-curated Head, Heart, and Hand: Making and Remaking at Berea College Student Craft.
