Kristy BurkholderTeaching Faculty

I am part of a dedicated team of advising professionals that is charged with enhancing the future academic and professional success of students in the School of Human Ecology.  I am deeply committed to students in the School of Human Ecology because of my passion for student development, my commitment to providing high-impact educational experiences, and my strong belief in the value of career and leadership education for cultivating life-long learning and professional success. I have tremendous appreciation of the value of a Human Ecology degree and the mission of SoHE after earning a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies from the school. Whether I am teaching students in the classroom or during advising sessions, I thrive on seeing students grow, succeed, and give back as community members and engaged alumni.
