As the creative lead for the Master of Science in Design + Innovation (MD+I) program, I collaborate with the team to amplify our students, their work, and the vision of the program. My current interests focus on speculative futures, design fiction, more-than-human design, and the ways stories can impact and transform the public imagination. Before joining the MD+I team, I had a long career as a designer, writer, and creative director and have spent the past five years at UW–Milwaukee in the Peck School of the Arts (Art & Design) where I taught in the Design and Visual Communication program. I also have an appointment as a lecturer in the Honors College. While at UW–Milwaukee, I co-founded the Tending Tomorrow project and podcast, as part of a Collaboratory grant project with the Center for 21st Century Studies, and I serve as the co-chair of Speculative Futures MKE.
