Godwin D. GonyoeGraduate Studenthe/him/his

I am an aspiring CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and a behavioral economist, focusing on improving household finance and decision-making, understanding consumption behaviors, and advancing the economic well-being of families, particularly through policies that enhance household welfare. My previous experience working with people in substance use recovery and low-income families has fueled my passion to work with marginalized communities and populations, such as households in substance use recovery, children with disabled parents, and low-income communities. I chose the School of Human Ecology for its internationally recognized scholarship, cutting-edge faculty research, and genuinely inclusive culture, as well as the opportunity to grow in service, research, teaching, and leadership. I bring a rich cross-cultural perspective that informs my questions, methods, and commitment to impactful, community-engaged scholarship.
