Jonathan HenkelDirector of Academic Planning & Assessment

I have spent the better part of the last two decades enthusiastically serving students, administrators, staff, and faculty in an educational setting. I am truly passionate about building programs that support success while advocating for the diversity of individualized interests.

As the Director of Academic Planning and Assessment in the School of Human Ecology, I oversee academic planning and management, data analysis, learning assessment, and program review. As a data-driven academic and student services professional, I am thrilled to provide school-wide leadership for efficient and effective academic planning in support of educational innovation and SoHE’s strategic goals. The new Academic Planning and Educational Innovation unit provides oversight to interdisciplinary academic programs and signature student experiences, while playing a key role in fostering a culture of educational excellence and innovative program development.
