I earned my BS from Drexel University in environmental science, and my MA in library and information studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I began working in the Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection as a collections assistant in grad school, excited that I could combine my love of sewing and fiber arts with my growing museum skills. I am interested in accessibility of museum databases, especially decolonizing databases through the use of terminology and keywords. My science background taught me the importance of asking questions about everything, and I apply that in my work in the collection.
