Michelle R.Z. HollandAssistant Dean for Graduate Programs

Michelle has over a decade of student services and graduate program administration experience at UW-Madison. From graduate program coordinator roles to central university administration in Graduate School working in academic services, policy, and centralized technology systems, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the School of Human Ecology. With a student centered approach to graduate program administration, Michelle works directly with graduate students from the time they apply as prospective students through their arrival on campus and orientation programming, to assisting them in navigating the power dynamics of being a graduate student in addition to the complex university administrative structure. Her primary goal is to meet students where they are and be a valuable resource throughout their graduate school journey. She is an efficient, experienced, and passionate administrator who excels in the ever changing landscape of university administration.
