As a career advisor for the School of Human Ecology, I serve students majoring in both Consumer Behavior & Marketplace Studies and Personal Finance. I bring a wide variety of experience to the school as I spent time working in marketing and advertising prior to deciding to pursue a career in higher education/student affairs. In combination with my previous experience from the private sector, I have experience in career advising and teaching as I was both a graduate advising intern and graduate teaching assistant with SuccessWorks on campus while I completed my master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis: Higher Education/Student Affairs from UW–Madison.
My passion for career services comes from my own unique career development journey of changing careers, as well as my desire to help students find fulfillment in their own personal and professional lives. One thing I love to hear from my students is “I am not sure what I want to do with my life,” because I enjoy exploring the endless possibilities with them.
