I have been a consumer strategist for over 20 years, exploring consumer behavior and developing strategies across industries from consumer goods and services to technology. I have studied a myriad of brands both large and small and partnered with the nation’s largest retailers, including Walmart, Target, and Kroger.
The study of consumer behavior is fascinating and unending. Understanding the reasoning behind what consumers do and the choices they make has never been more important. My innate curiosity led to a fulfilling career as a consumer strategist, and I am excited to bring this expertise to the university classroom.
My passion for research is rooted in my personal love of learning. I am a lifelong learner and believe that the more we can learn, the more we can grow and become fulfilled.
To teach is to learn, and both depend on an ongoing exchange of ideas. I will strive to make my classrooms interactive, inclusive, and dynamic. I look forward to meeting my students and am so excited to be a part of the School of Human Ecology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
