I joined the UW–Madison Child Development Lab as director in December 2024, bringing more than 17 years of experience in early childhood education, teaching, program leadership, and teacher mentorship.

My career began in the classroom as a toddler teacher and later a multi-age kindergarten teacher before expanding into higher education and leadership. At the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, I served as director of the early childhood education academic program in the School of Education and as director of the UWM Children’s Learning Center.

I hold a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with a focus in early childhood education from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, along with advanced training in program administration and teacher mentorship. My approach to leadership and education is grounded in building strong, caring relationships and creating inclusive teams and environments where children, families, students, and educators feel a sense of belonging and purpose.
