I am a Fulbright scholar and a PhD student in the Consumer Behavior & Family Economics program. My research focuses on household finance and development economics, particularly informal credit use and alternative financial services.
Prior to starting my PhD, I served as a principal researcher at the Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research (PIER) at the Bank of Thailand (BOT). In this role, I gained extensive research experience in development economics, monetary policy, and finance, and worked closely with academic and research institutions both domestically and internationally.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan where I studied under a full-time scholarship from the BOT. Additionally, I earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Thammasat University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (first class honors) in banking and finance from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
