Cadin Tonković-ĆapinGraduate Program Specialistshe/they

Before joining the School of Human Ecology, I taught high school chemistry and earned my Master’s in Education from Boston University. While I no longer spend my days in the classroom, my teaching experience informs how I approach graduate student academic and professional development, current and prospective student communications, recruitment and onboarding, and student funding. I feel passionately about the role that belonging plays in furthering educational equity and justice, and am thus constantly working to support our students in building a stronger and more tightly knit community of scholars. The research that our graduate students conduct is relevant, urgent, and exciting, and I am proud to support them in their work every day.
