Center for Retailing Announces Lands' End Experiential Retail & Design Challenge

Calling all undergraduate students!
The Center for Retailing in the School of Human Ecology at UW-Madison is pleased to announce a unique extracurricular case competition opportunity in partnership with Lands’ End:

Compete on a team of students from a diverse range of majors across campus to develop an exclusive fitting room experience for Lands’ End as they expand their brick and mortar store location. Fitting room concepts will personify the future of the retailing industry and will include opportunities to advise a major retail brand, Lands’ End, on concepts related to technology, personalization, differentiation, and experiential retail.

  • Who’s eligible to compete? Undergraduate students in all majors at UW-Madison with an interest in making an impact on and gaining professional experience in the retailing industry are welcome to apply.
  • What is the timeline of the competition? Work on the case competition will take place in October and early November. All teams will present their final recommendations to Lands’ End executives in mid-November.
  • How do I apply? To apply, please complete this application by October 7, 2017 at 11:59 pm. You will hear back about your application status no later than October 10.
