Heather Kirkorian, PhD, was recently quoted in an interview by a WFMZ, a Pennsylvania and New Jersey news outlet. The article cites her research that determines if 2-year-olds learn best from interactive digital media. Although there needs to be more research on interactive media and children, Kirkorian concludes the interview by stating that simple apps are beneficial to children because they allow them to play and explore in an experience.

Vivian Empowers Underserved Communities to Overpower Diabetes
CSCR grad student and Pharmacy School professor Eva Vivian launched a Peers Empowering Peers, a program where they teach community members how to live healthier lives from balanced meals to stress management.
