On Thursday, June 7, 2018, we celebrated the completion of the building’s 100 Women Wall of Honor. Although beautiful and iconic, the event was not about the physical wall, but focused on the 100 generous donors who have given financial support to our students, faculty, research, and programs. Many of these donors and their families were on hand for the celebration in front of the wall as well as an investiture ceremony for the 100 Women Chair in Human Ecology held by Dr. Sigan Hartley, and the Laura M. Secord Chair in Early Childhood Development held by Dr. Heather Kirkorian.
Hosted by Dean Soyeon Shim and Dean Emerita Robin Douthitt, more than 200 guests attended. Scroll through the photos of this historic celebration, including the group shot of the largest gathering of 100 Women donors to date. A video of the event produced by Zebradog, the company responsible for the creation of the wall, can be viewed here.
