This research paper authored by Associate Professor Cliff Robb and PhD student Somalis Chy discusses how freshmen/sophomore students who take a financial life skills course might have a different impact on their financial well-being, stress, attitudes, and student loan debt awareness.
They conducted a broad survey of undergraduates at a major Midwestern university, half who took the financial life skills course as freshmen or sophomores, and those who didn’t. Areas of particular interest include financial literacy, well-being, stress, attitudes, and behavior.
