Dr. Melody Harvey to Join Consumer Science in Fall 2020

Currently the National Poverty Fellow at the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families, Harvey studies how public policies affect economically vulnerable populations in the U.S., with a focus on the effects of K-16 financial education on the financial outcomes of youth and young adults across different socioeconomic groups.
